Most patients require around 1 ml of dermal filler per hand for complete volume restoration. We review the results at the two-week mark to see if more is needed.

Hand dermal filler treatments are generally considered quite comfortable. We use numbing cream and ice to reduce any discomfort. Nitrous gas (happy gas) is also available to help with comfort.

We use three types of fillers:

  1. Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler: This is the most common type and lasts 9-18 months. It costs $600 per ml.
  2. Skin Boosters (Non-Crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid): These fillers hydrate and refresh the skin and also cost $600 per ml.
  3. Collagen-Stimulating Fillers: These fillers provide instant volume and also stimulate collagen growth. They last 2-5 years and cost $950 per ml.

Yes, dermal fillers are a well-established, safe, and effective treatment for hand rejuvenation. We perform the treatments under local anaesthetic, with minimal pain and no downtime.

 You’ll see immediate results after the treatment. The full effect is visible after 2 weeks, once the filler has settled and swelling has gone down.

For most laser treatments, there is minimal downtime. Some treatments may cause redness for a few hours, while more intensive lasers may leave the skin with a sunburn-like appearance for 3-5 days.
